Killifish lay their eggs in pond mud, and when the pond dries up, the eggs go dormant, able to survive for years. Easy-Hatch™ tropical fish hatchery lets you bring these amazing eggs to life.

It sounds crazy, like growing fish from seeds... Easy-Hatch Soil + Water = Fish, yet amazingly it is true. Simply immerse the Easy-hatch "soil" containing the dormant eggs in the fish bowl filled with water. In a separate water dish, place the dried brine shrimp. This is the fish food.

After only about 24 hours, the Killifish eggs will re-hydrate and hatch! The fish start out very tiny, but watch them grow. Within a few months, the fish will be fully grown (up to 2"), with dazzling tropical colors and shapes.

The set includes a 6" by 7" aquarium with vented lid and hatching compartment lid, magnifying glass, water dropper, instructions, and a numbered certificate for ordering the killifish eggs, hatching bowl, and brine shrimp eggs to hatch as fish food and sea salt (requires additional shipping and handling only).

Note: there is an additional shipping and handling cost (currently $8.00 for warm-weather shipping, and $12 or $24 for cold-weather shipping). This additional cost, and step, ensures that your fish eggs are fresh and ready to hatch.
